According to the latest reports from Gazzetta Dello Sport, Manchester United fullback Matteo Darmain has drawn interest from Italian giants Napoli as the club is keen to sign the talented fullback.
The Red Devils’ fullback is not in the plans of newly appointed Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho as the manager is looking for a complete overhaul of his defense.
The 26-year old who has moved from Italian outfit Torino to Old Trafford last summer has had a decent season with the Red Devils as he is set to return to the training this week after an extended break due to his participation in Euro 2016.
Napoli looks to build a complete squad going into the new season from the £75million money they received by selling Gonzalo Higuain to Juventus. The Italian international has made 29 premier league appearances in his debut season with Manchester United but Jose Mourinho doesn’t have the player in his plans suggested the report.
Napoli are ready to pay 12.7 million Pounds for the Italian international in an attempt to lure him back to Italian Serie A.
