No official bid made for Manchester United and Liverpool target, confirms club director

Gremio has confirmed that they have not received any offers for their star Luan Vieira from English clubs despite the reports circulating in the media, confirmed Gremio’s club director.
The 23-year Brazilian had attracted the interest of many European clubs with his stellar performances at the Olympic games. Despite starting on the bench at the start if the tournament, the player had broken into starting lineup as he managed three goals and two assists as Brazil cruised to finals.
English clubs Manchester United, Liverpool and Leicester City have been linked with the player as the trio have shown their interest to sign him.
However, speaking to Sport-Witness, Grêmio’s football director Antonio Dutra said: “We haven’t received any bids. That’s all I can tell you, because there’s nothing.
“There wasn’t an offer as well. Probably there was something between his agent and the club, but nothing has arrived at Grêmio.”
When asked about the transfer fee for Luan, the director said: the director said: “We don’t have the figures defined, but it’s much more than what’s been reported.”
Luan has a release clause of €85 million with Gremio. However, the club are reportedly looking for €45 million if he moves to Europe this summer or €30 million for a transfer in January.
The 23-year old Brazilian is a versatile attacker who normally plays as an attacking midfielder bit also has the capability to play as a winger as well as a striker.
European giants Juventus and Barcelona have are also interested in the versatile forward.
