Manchester United have been tipped as the favorites to sign Sevilla’s in-form striker Carlos Bacca. The player is valued at £21million.
Bacca is coming fresh from scoring a brace in the Europa League final against Dnipro. Bacca has scored 28 goals this season and is tipped to make his big-money move this summer.
This news comes after the player himself admitted to his long-term stay with Sevilla.
Manchester United have been in the market for a new striker after deciding to let Radamel Falcao leave after his loan spell and the news of Robin Van Persie to leave Old Trafford is gathering momentum after the Dutch striker has been linked with Juventus and Roma.
Bacca, 28 is one of the best goal scorers in the European football at the moment and a price tag of £21million would indeed prompt United to make a bid for the Colombian striker.
Bacca is seen as one of the real success stories in recent times. As per the reports, Bacca was a bus-conductor back in Colombia 8 years ago and now the Colombian is the two-time Europa League winner with Sevilla.
Bacca is also linked with a move to Liverpool and Real Madrid in the summer. Sevilla must brace themselves to a bidding war for Carlos Bacca in the summer with European heavyweights going after Bacca’s signature.
Bacca is a natural goal-scorer and Man United could really do with a striker who knows how to put the ball in to back of the net.
