Cristiano Ronaldo wanted to make another dramatic comeback this summer after returning to Manchester United last summer. The Portuguese reportedly contacted Real Madrid for a transfer this time.
However, in a new setback Cristiano Ronaldo has now faced rejection from Real Madrid as well for a possible move. The forward is looking for a new club after United failed to qualify for the Champions League last season.

The all-time top scorer of the competition, Ronaldo wants to remain in the Champions League, and more importantly avoid the Europa League.

Jorgen Mendes, the super agent of Ronaldo is currently in talks with a number of Europe’s elite clubs is yet to find a new suitor for his client.
According to reports coming out of Spain, Mendes recently concluded negotiations with Real Madrid president Florentino Perez.
Though MARCA deny any reports of Mendes meeting with Perez, the Spanish outlet still claim that Real have distanced themselves from the possibility of brining back Ronaldo.
Real have conveyed that they have different plans for the future, which could be disrupted if they broker a deal for Ronaldo now.
Moreover, the European Champions have Karim Benzema as the leader of their attack and want to keep it that way for at least two more year.

Cristiano Ronaldo, the record goal-scorer of the club netted a mammoth 451 goals in 436 appearances for Real Madrid. Further on, the Portuguese helped Real to 4 Champions League titles, out of which three were won on consecutive occasions.
He left Real in 2018 for Juventus, and after 3 years with the Old Lady made a return to Manchester United for the first time since 2009.
Meanwhile, Madrid’s rejection comes after Mendes had met with Chelsea, Bayern Munich, PSG and Atletico Madrid. All of them passed on the chance to land Cristiano Ronaldo due to various reasons.
Nonetheless, Ronaldo still has just over a month to find a new club if he is to play in the Champions League next season.
