Odds slashed on Klopp to take over an English club this summer
Online bookmarkers have tipped Liverpool as the preferred destination this summer. Jurgen Klopp has announced that he would step down as Borussia Dortmund manager at the end of the current season.
The manager has managed Dortmund over 300 games during his 7 year spell at Signal Iduna Park and has helped Dotmund to win 2 Bungesliga titles, 2 German Super Cup titles, 1 German Cup and 2012-13 Champions League final.
Liverpool are currently undergoing transition under Brendan Rodgers as they yet again failed to gain a top-4 finish this season. Brendan Rodgers is trying to add quality to the side this summer but should Jurgen Klopp consider a move to Premier League, Liverpool might sack Brendan Rodgers for Jurgen Klopp.
The manager has a very good reputation in turning a talented young squad to a champion squad as he have earned plaudits for his work at both Mainz and Dortmund during his spells at the German Clubs.
The manager have also drawn interest from Real Madrid and Bayern Munich but Jurgen Klopp never took champion sides as he want to develop a squad for the future rather than have the pressure to perform with in no time to settle.
