German giants Borussia Dortmund have managed to sign yet another world class youngster in Alxander Isak from Swedish club AIK.
The 17-year old teenager is considered as one of the finest young strikers in Europe as he has drawn interest from several other European giants which include Real Madrid and Chelsea. However, Dortmund have managed to pull off yet another impressive young signing with Isak as he is dubbed as the “next Zlatan Ibrahimovic” in Sweden.
Dortmund already has some of the finest youngsters in the world with the likes of Christian Pulisic (18 years old), Ousmane Dembélé (19), Julian Weigl (21), Emre Mor (19) all playing for the Bundesliga outfit.
Isak will also become the first ever Swedish player to represent Dortmund as he views the German club could provide him the ideal platform to develop as a player. Earlier, Chelsea were considered favorites to sign him as he managed an unbelievable 10 goals in 24 matches in 2017 season.
Spanish giants Real Madrid were also credited with an interest in the player. Isak has recently become the youngest player ever to score for Sweden when they won 6-0 against Slovakia on Jan 12.

‘Alexander Isak is a high-calibre talent, who was wanted by numerous top European clubs. We are very glad that he has decided for Borussia Dortmund,’ said Dortmund’s sporting director Michael Zorc.
‘BVB are just as convinced as the player is that this transfer is one with a great future.’
Isak will replace Adrian Ramos in the Dortmund squad who is their secondary striker to Pierre Emerick Aubameyang. Ramos is expected to make a move to Chinese Super League as he is on the verge of a €12m transfer to CSL club Chongqing Lifan. However, he will be loaned out to La Liga outfit Granada, who are under the same ownership, as the club are currently fighting a relegation battle.
