Liverpool winger Lazar Markovic is set to return back to Premier League after an unsuccessful loan spell at Sporting Lisbon and the Reds are keen to offer him another chance with a loan deal at Hull City, according to the reports.
The 22-year old Serbian has joined Reds from Benfica in the summer of 2014 for a massive £20million but has failed to pin down a place at Anfield due to a string of injuries and inconsistent performances.
But manager Jurgen Klopp has decided to send the player on loan to Portuguese club Sporting Lisbon but Sporting boss Jorge Jesus has decided to cancel the loan move which will see the winger move back to Anfield.
Despite having lesser options on the wings, with Sadio Mane playing in the African Cup of Nations, Klopp is not keen to provide him chance at Merseyside and instead is ready to send him on loan to Premier League side Hull City.
Markovic has only played for 204 minutes for Sporting Lisbon so far this season and will now help Hull City in their relegation battle for the rest of the season, according to Liverpool Echo.
Hull boss Marco Silva is also desperate to make some new additions to their squad as the club are determined to stay in the Premier League after getting promoted at the end of last season from the Championship.
Markovic is one of the major faces that Silva wants at Hull City before the close of the transfer window as a host of clubs are looking to sign their talisman Robert Snodgrass.
Since moving to Anfield in the summer of 2014, Markovic has managed a mere 34 appearances for the club and have had loan spell at Turkish giants Fenerbahce last season. He will be keen to prove his worth with Hull City as he is determined to seal a place at Liverpool next season.
