Out of Favor Liverpool Star Now Favorite To Sign For West Ham United 1

Jurgen Klopp and Liverpool will be disappointed with the result at the weekend at the St Marys where a dominant performance throughout the game yielded just a point on the night.

Roberto Firmino, Sadio Mane and Philippe Coutinho all had decent chances to finish the game off but with the likes od Van Djik and Fonte putting in a splendid display, Liverpool were just not able to break the deadlock on the night sharing a point with the Saint from this game.

Though Klopp’s side were expressive and almost broke Southampton down, the fact that the manager made his first change in the 84th minute shows that he hardly has any trust on his bench.

This has seen one Daniel Sturridge get more and more frustrated by the week.

The English international is in decent for scoring for his national side in the break and was expected to start for Liverpool if Coutinho could not make it to the starting XI.

However, Klopp decided to stick with the Brazilian who came close to opening the scoring but he was visibly tired from his air miles in the break and should have been given a break lot earlier.

But Klopp decided to keep him till the end, with no game in the mid-week, and replaced Emre Can from the midfield to get Daniel Sturridge into the game with less than 10 minute to play.

Sturridge almost got Liverpool the lead when his intelligent chip should have been converted by Nathaniel Clyne in the dying minutes of the game.

However, this game has now raised more and more rumors of Sturridge being unsettled at the club and Express has not run a story about the striker who is now reportedly on his way to West Ham.

Having missed out on Carlos Bacca in the summer, Slaven Bilic settled for Simone Zaza to add to his squad before the start of the season but the Italian has failed to have any kind of an impact on the squad and might not stay at the club for long.

The manager will be back in search of a top class striker in January or at the end of the season and the British media publication now reports that the Hammers are favorites to land the out-of-favor Liverpool man in months to come.

With Roberto Firmino above him in the pecking order, Sturridge has seen regular game time hard to come by and Klopp has also accepted his situation and has laid a £25m price tag on the striker.

The 27-year old English striker is one of the most prolific goal scorer in England at the moment but has just not been able to find consistency but the likes of AC Milan are also interested in his signature making him a star addition to the squad at the Olympic stadium.

However, Klopp will surely keep hold of him till the end of the season to cope with the intensity of the fixture list at which time, the player and the club can take a more informed decision.

Do you think Sturridge will leave Liverpool at the end of the season?
