Arsenal’s newest signing Petr Cech, who joined the Gunners from Chelsea June 29th, 2015, received death threats from a sect of chelsea fans on the social media platform – Twitter. Petr Cech had spent nearly a decade at Stamford Bridge and became one of the finest goalkeepers in the Premier League era. Due to fierce competition from young Belgian custodian Thiabut Courtois last season, Cech decided to part ways with the Blues and join their city rivals Arsenal. Unfortunately some fo the Chelsea fans did not take this transfer in the right spirit and hurled abuses at the Czech Republic international. Some of the fans even called him’traitor’ and ‘snake’ and some of them openly declared their urges to execute the vetran goalkeeper.
Here is a compilation of tweets which shows us how angry Chelsea fans are on their once favourite club player:
@PetrCech Say goodbye to your family for one last time before they go to sleep, you won’t be seeing them tomorrow you snake idiot.
