In a rather crazy and bizarre scenes we witnessed the infamous football hooliganism return to modern game as Aston Villa fans invaded the pitch after the hosts defeated west Brom 2-0 to progress in to the Semi Finals of the competitions.

There were unpleasant moments as the West Brom players were left defenceless against the mob of Aston Villa fans which could have ended very badly if any of the players would have ended injured. All the players were seen covering their face and head to avoid any collision.

Call them crazy or stupid, the fans did not even spare their own players while conveying their joy at the win. Fabian Delph came in the harm’s way as he claimed to have been bitten in all the madness at the final whistle.

After Racism, Sexist Chants, Spitting now we see Hooliganism creating a bad name over the beautiful game, I wonder how or rather what the authorities can do to eradicate these unwanted elements from the game.
