Player Ratings: Sanchez, Mustafi Impress As Gunners Win Three Points Against Burnley 1

Arsenal have won three valuable points against Burnley at Emirates as late penalty from Alexis Sanchez has rescued the game for the hosts.

There was an absolute madness in the injury time as Xhaka was initially sent off and the visitors have equalized with a penalty. But there is plenty more drama as the hosts were later awarded the penalty and Sanchez has scored with a Peneka kick to win the game for Arsenal in the 98th minute.

Here we look at the player ratings as Arsenal clinch three crucial points.

Cech- 7

Class overall and was brave to come off the line as he kept Arsenal in the game with his impressive shot stopping prowess.

Gabriel- 6

Has been very poor going forward but has done his defensive duty well in the right back position.

Mustafi- 8

Scored the opener and have looked decent overall as he looked solid at the back.

Koscielny- 6

Caught off guard a couple of times but has been good enough to recover and have also provided the foul that led to late penalty.

Monreal- 6

Looked impressive overall but can be more effective going forward as he often misplaced the ball in the opponent’s half.

Xhaka- 5

Sent off in injury time. Looked decent before becoming reckless again which could prove a problem for Wenger in the coming weeks.

Ramsey- 6

Has lacked the final ball as his passes were impenetrable against a resolute Burnley defense.

Iwobi- 6

Looked okay as he failed to shine due to lack of composure on the left wing.

Ozil- 7

Another passing master class by the German maestro as he has been the major source of creating chances in the final third.

Sanchez- 8

Yet another Man of the Match performance by the Chilean as his cool head in the final minute has sealed three crucial points for the club.

Giroud- 7

Has made deep runs into Burnley defense as he has led the attack from the front. Another solid performance by the Frenchman despite not scoring.
