Christmas times are here and what is a Christmas without Santa Claus. Though Santa Claus might be a mythical figure (sorry believers), we here have made a list of the players who have been Santa’s for their teams. They have lifted the team when it was down, taken their teams to glorious victories and spread happiness among the millions of fans who watch them everyday!

Leicester City: Jamie Vardy and Riyad Mahrez- Do we even need to list what this duo has done for their team? Leicester City’s dream run to the top of the table has been possible because of the goal scoring prowess of these two remarkable forwards who have 28 goals between them.

Arsenal: Mesut Ozil- This particular German has wowed one and all with his abilities. With 15 assists in !6 games, Ozil is on track to break Henry’s record and rightly has been Arsenal’s Santa helping to win games for his team and spreading happiness!

Manchester City: Segio Aguero- Kun Aguero is a beast and he features on this list because he lifted the team when they were down. Remember the five goals against Newcastle? It just doesn’t get better than this.

Manchester United: David de Gea- In this boring season laid forward by Louis Van Gaal, De Gea has been the only entertainer keeping 6 clean sheets in 13 games.

Chelsea: Willian- In this unforgettable season, this Brazilian has been the only redeemable aspect of the Blues game. Doing everything on the pitch, Willian’s antics were the only happy thing in this pathetic season.

Liverpool:Jurgen Klopp- The German has changed frowns into smiles in the short time that he has taken over the Merseyside club. Klopps eccentricity and zeal turns out to be contagious as Liverpool are playing with a vigour and energy that makes watching them all the more fun. Liverpool has never been like this and all has been possible because of the ex Dortmund boss who did marvellous things at the German club and who is to say he can’t do the same in England!

Barcelona: Neymar and Luis Suarez- Do we even need to enumerate how brilliant this duo has been for the Catalans? The magic of South American boys didn’t even make the viewers realise the absence of the Argentinean. They have 27 goals between them and with the way MSN are going forward this tally is going to shoot the stars!

Atletico Madrid: Antoine Griezmann- Griezmann has been Atletico’s reckoning scoring goals regularly for the Roji Blancos. Two player of the month awards in a single year is proof enough of the impact of the Frenchman on the game and his team and that is why he makes our list.

Real Madrid: Keylor Navas- Real Madrid’s season has been a patchy one but the performance of this goalkeeper has been impeccable.7 clean sheets and 38 saves just tells the story of the form of this South American this season.

PSG: Zlatan Ibrahimovic- The name is just enough! A self proclaimed man no one is better than this Swede and you cannot deny it! Undoubtedly he is the Santa for PSG with his 15 goals in 14 games along with 6 assists.

Bayern Munich: Robert Lewandowski- The 27 year old Polish forward has been ever rising. From Dortmund to Munich his performance has only improved. The man scored 4 goals in 9 minutes! We rest our case!

Borussia Dortmund:Pierre Emerick Aubameyang- Aubameyeang is the highest goal scorer in the Bundesliga and Dortmund’s position in the league can be attributed to his 18 goals in 17 games. And he does not only score goals but also provides assists religiously. He is potentially the best player in Europe and thus makes the list!

Inter:Mauro Icardi- Inter occupy the top position in the league and Iccardi has been their frontrunner with his 7 goals in 14 games.

Napoli: Gonzalo Higuain- He is the highest goal scorer in Serie A and thanks to his exploits that Napoli sit on a comfortable 3rd position in the league. A dependable striker, a regular goal scorer and Napoli Santa.

Juventus: Paulo Dybala- From the recesses of relegation to a top four spot, Juve’s journey this season has been remarkable and leading from the front has been Dybala with his 8 goals.
