Confirmed: Polish mid-fielder to become first Klopp signing of the summer 1

With the end of the Premier League season, the attention of most fans and clubs will now turn to the transfer window in the summer where teams will be trying hard to strengthen their team for the next season.

And the likes of Pep Guardiola, Antonio Conte, and Jose Mourinho set to take over three of the top clubs in the league, it will need all other clubs to act quickly if they are to get their hands on their top transfer targets this summer.

And it now looks like Merseyside outfit Liverpool have taken their first step to re-building this summer after it was revealed that they have now reached an agreement with a mid-fielder.

Since moving to the club, manager Jurgen Klopp has seen Marko Grujic and Joel Matip sign pre-season agreements to join the club next season and recent reports have now suggested that he has made the third signing at his new club and the first one of the summer.

Polish outlet Przeglad Sportowy revealed earlier today that star Udinese midfielder Piotr Zielinski has agreed to join the Reds this summer.

The 21-year old Polish international was linked with a move to Liverpool in January but a deal fell through. However, with his loan spell at Empoli coming to an end, he is not expected to move back to Udinese and is now days away from officially signing a contract with Liverpool.

In a recent interview with Canal+, a sports outlet, Zielinski was seen sporting a Liverpool shirt, which pulled out some interesting rumors which might now come true.

It is understood that the two clubs have already reached an agreement at € 12 million and it is now up to the player to put pen to paper.

In the past, Zielinski also spoke about wanting to play for Jurgen Klopp one day and it now looks like the 21-year old will be a part of the Liverpool squad under Jurgen Klopp next season.

The midfielder has been impressive in the recently concluded season scoring 5 goals and creating another 6 in 35 games for the club. He also has 13 caps for his country at a tender age and is set to be an important part of the Poland national team at the EURO16.

He will add a much-needed steel and strength in the Liverpool line-up next season and has a great chance of reaching his potential.

Do you think Zielinski will be a hit in the Premier League?
