Predicted Lineup: Arsenal vs Watford

Arsenal’s title chase has faltered recently and they will be keen to return to the track of credentials to triumph. Arsene Wenger’s men produced a clinical performance against Everton a fortnight ago and will be looking for the same chemistry between the players to dismantle the togetherness of Watford.

Here is how Arsenal are supposed to field against Watford.

GOALKEEPER

Peter Cech has returned from injury but will be too soon for the Czech international to feature, which means David Ospina will get a sustained run of his impressive performances.

DEFENCE

Arsene will opt to select the same defenders that started last game at the Merseyside. Per Mertesacker was sidelined giving preference to Gabriel. The full-backs Nacho Monreal and Hector Bellerin have been instrumental for Arsenal in this season, and Laurent Koscielny will be marked as the captain.

MIDFIELD

Mohammad Elneny was selected as Arsenal’s player of the month, and the Egyptian has deemed himself as a vital player for the club. With Santi Cazorla and Aaron Ramsey absent due to injuries, the midfielder will be selected together with Francis Coquelin as defensive midfielders.

The offensive part of the midfield will be furnished by midfield magician Mesut Ozil starting behind the centre-forward. Alex Iwobi enjoyed a terrific full debut in Premier League and will be given another run. Chilean Alexis Sanchez will complete the five-man midfield of Arsenal.

FORWARD

Danny Welbeck will be given the nod ahead of Olivier Giroud and Theo Walcott, as the English man has shown great compatibility and prolificacy in front of goal.
