Manchester City were humiliated on their trip to the King Power at the weekend and will now face the high-flying Watford this week in a double header at the Etihad. In early team news, Fernandinho and Sergio Aguero are both suspended for this game for their antics against Chelsea while Vincent Kompany (knee) remains the only other injury concern for Guardiola.
However, Nicolas Otamendi is back in action after serving a suspension at the weekend. The Citizens cannot afford to drop anymore points this season having picked up none in their last two games and the manager is expected to field his strongest XI for this game.
