Kevin De Bruyne has made Manchester City tick in the early weeks of the season. He’s been running the show and it was telling that Pep Guardiola’s struggled to exert control in their most recent win over Swansea until the Belgian moved back into a central role.
De Bruyne’s injury setback late in that game is likely to have more of a detrimental effect on City than Sergio Aguero’s recent suspension.
