Premier League rivals make shocking bid for Arsenal defender who wants to leave club

Watford are reportedly interested in securing the service of Arsenal defender Calum Chambers.
Chambers moved to the Emirates from Southampton for £16million two years ago.
But since then he has somehow fallen down the pecking order in the Gunners defence, and has managed only over 50 minutes of Premier League football in 2016.
The 21-year-old promising defender has been linked with a move away from Arsenal in January also as he is desperate to gain regular first-team football which Wenger can’t give him now.
And according to a report from Daily Mail, Watford remain keen on the defender.
Although, Chambers’ awful defensive error against Lens during last night’s pre-season friendly will raise some serious doubts about the credibility of the youngster.
The report claims the Hornets want to play Chambers at centre-back, and Arsenal will wait to see if they make any more of their own defensive additions before sanctioning any move.
Arsene Wenger has already signed defender Rob Holding from Bolton, but he is expected to be loaned out to gain more experience.
But if he decides to use Holding for the upcoming season then he may have already found a replacement for the former Saint in the shape of the 20-year old Bolton Wanderers centre-back.
The Gunners are also involved in a transfer tussle for another central defender. The player in question is the young German star Matthias Ginter of Borussia Dortmund and the other club chasing his £10 million transfer is the Bundesliga outfit Wolfsburg.
Ginter seems more likely replacement as he also has the versatility and ability to play at right-back and central midfield as well as the centre of defense.
