EPL Team of the week: Gameweek 38
Victor Valdes enjoyed an excellent game on his first start for Manchester United. Despite being away from the game for over 13 months, Valdes showed superb reflexes and made 3 crucial saves to ensure United ended the game with a 0-0 draw.
Eric Dier never looked like conceding against Everton. The English center half stood tall to everything Everton threw at him and in the end provided the key assist to Harry Kane which sealed the 1-0 win for Spurs.
Jonas Gutierrez, what a story this was when the Argentine scored the all-important goal for Newcastle United to ensure their safety in the Premier League. Jonas had battled his way back from cancer after being sidelined for months.
Frank Lampard may have played his last ever game in the Premier League and he capped it off in style by scoring his trademark goal by running in to the box from midfield.
Theo Walcott ensured that his contract talks go as smoothly as possible by scoring a brilliant first half hattrick to seal a 4-1 win for the Gunners. Arsenal have qualified for the Champions League next season.
