Chelsea routed Everton in the Premier League this weekend as they put five past the Merseyside club. This was their fifth consecutive win for the Blues which helped them reach the top of the table eclipsing Manchester City.
The Blues kept the intensity with the ball and also tracked well without it. Everton manager Ronald Koeman praised his team for their playing style in 3-4-3, which is considered one of the most complicated systems in football.
The Blues have now won five games on a trot, maintained five clean sheets in the process and are suddenly looking to be the best team in the league with the switch in the formation. Eden Hazard has been the star yet again as the Belgian is reaping the benefits in the new formation as he is playing more centrally in the attack which has made him more versatile and difficult for defenders to contain.
The Blues have now got 25 points from the first 11 games and are on top of the table by and if Arsenal and Liverpool do not manage to win in their respective games, Chelsea will emerge as the new league leaders going into the international break.
Here we look at how twitter has reacted after the Blues’ dominating 5-0 victory at Stamford Bridge on Saturday.

If Chelsea win the league, Kanté must go down as one of the greatest PL midfielders of all time. Vital CM in back to back league wins.
