Newly appointed Paris Saint-Germain manager Unai Emery has confirmed that there is a possibility of his club signing Real Madrid forward Jese Rodriguez who is linked with Liverpool earlier.
The 23-year old is one of the best forwards in Real Madrid but is frustrated with his position at the club as he is not getting regular playing time which has alerted clubs like Liverpool and Arsenal who are looking for a quality goalscorer going into the new season.
However, PSG who let Zlatan Ibrahimovic move on to Manchester United as a free agent is looking for a new striker who could support their highly rated main striker Edinson Cavani. PSG coach Unai Emery says there is a possibility as he knew Jese well.
“It’s a possibility, as are other opportunities in the transfer window,” Emery said. “I know Jese well, the club knows Jese well, he is a good player.”
The Spanish footballer has only made 7 starts in La Liga and has made 21 substitute appearances as he accumulated 827 minutes last season and have been impressive with five goals and six assists in his 38 appearances in total last season. But the player has managed to stay on the pitch for a full 90 minutes even once despite making 38 appearances for Los Blancos.
The player could move elsewhere as he is still an impact player coming off the bench at Real Madrid but seeks regular first team football.
