French champions Paris Saint-Germain are readying a sensational bid for in-form Liverpool star Adam Lallana. According to the reports, the French outfit is eyeing a whopping bid of £40million in the upcoming transfer window.

The Sun has reported that PSG will offer the England international a staggering £200,000-a-week contract which is almost three times than what he earns at Anfield.

As quoted in the news outlet, a PSG insider said: “Adam is seen as a player of real quality in the Premier League.”

“His age is not a problem as the club want the best players — and he is one of them,” the source added.

The report claimed that PSG director of football Patrick Kluivert is a huge fan of the playmaker and considers him as the best English player in the Premier League.

It will be interesting to see how Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp reacts to the huge bid. The German tactician has done a remarkable job at Anfield and Lallana is one of the most important players in his plans.
