Not only QPR’s Premier League rankings have improved but so have their confidence and aspirations. In the latest reports coming from QPR camp suggest that the West London club could be preparing a triple swoop for Christian Rodriguez, Pete Crouch and Jermaine Defoe.
QPR manager Harry Redknapp is known for his shrewd transfer dealings and that too in the January transfer window. 2 wins in their last 5 league games have given QPR some hope of survival, they are currently 18th in the Premier League table.
QPR are believed to be prepaaring a loan deal for Atletico Madrid winger Christian Rodriguez in a bid to restore QPR’s season. Christian Rodriguez has fallen out of favor at Atletico Madrid since the arrival of Antonio Griezmann and Alessio Cerci. This gives Harry Redknapp an opportunity to bring the Uruguayan winger to Loftus road and install a much needed creativity to QPR’s play.
Harry Redknapp is keeping a close eye on rumors surrounding club’s star striker Charlie Austin. Charlie Austin has been in a great form recently and his goals have helped QPR to lift themselves from the bottom of the league standings. With other clubs are monitoring Charlie Austin, Harry is preparing a double swoop for his trusted men Peter Crouch and Jermaine Defoe.
Crouch and Defoe have earlier played for Redknapp at Portsmouth and Tottenham Hotspur. If Austin was to leave QPR, Crouch and Defoe would be the ideal men to step in and provide goals to save QPR’s season.
QPR’s triple swoop for Christian Rodriguez, Peter Crouch and Jermaine Defoe is a clear signal of intent from QPR and Harry Redknapp. QPR fans must stay patient until the January transfer window, because if anyone can strike these deals for QPR it will be Harry Redknapp.
