Football career:
Born in Jamaica, Raheem Sterling moved to London at the age of five. He began his football career with London-based club, Queens Park Rangers. In 2010, Liverpool manager, Rafael Benitez signed him up for the Merseyside club for an initial fee of £600,000. Sterling rose through the ranks of Liverpool’s academy team and impressed straight away. Just two years after joining Liverpool, he made his senior debut for the club aged 17 years and 107 days.
