ToggleRaheem Sterling to Chelsea rumours are doing the rounds for quite some time now. Recent reports have suggested that the London-based club is really interested in bringing the England star to Stamford Bridge.
Raheem Sterling’s days at Manchester City looked numbered last from last season itself when he struggled to be a regular part of the playing eleven. Following the arrival of Jack Grealish, the winger made only 30 appearances last season. Out of those 30 games, only 23 came as a starter.
The arrival of Erling Haaland and Julian Alvarez has further put question marks over Sterling’s future at the Etihad. Pep Guardiola is unlikely to give too many chances to Sterling if the latter decides to stay with the Premier League seasons for at least one more season.

City, however, might like to sell Sterling since his contract ends at the end of the next season. Amidst all these, Chelsea are heavily linked with the 27-year old. Recent reports have suggested that the London-based club is very interested in securing the services of the Manchester City star.
Raheem Sterling to Chelsea:
At the moment, there is very little clarity over Raheem Sterling to Chelsea rumours. And transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has given a more clear picture on Sterling’s situation. Romano has claimed that Chelsea are seriously looking at the prospect of signing up Sterling.
However, they are yet to communicate City for the same while the latter are yet to state the amount they would like to get for the winger.
“There is genuine interest from Chelsea in Raheem Sterling,” Romano said while speaking on his Here We Go podcast.
“They’re really exploring this possibility. There is no negotiation yet with Man City and Chelsea. At the moment, there isn’t direct talks but there is interest from Chelsea in Sterling’s situation. They’re waiting to see how much would be the price tag,” he added.
Chelsea would love to have the experienced attacker in their side. They are looking set to lose Romelu Lukaku who is heavily linked with a move to Inter Milan. The Stamford Bridge outfit is also linked with Barcelona star Ousmane Dembele.
