Antonio Conte’s Chelsea are well on their way to the Premier League title this season, having opened up a 9 points gap over Tottenham Hotspur in the 2nd place in the points table.
The manager however, is evidently unhappy with the options at his disposal and has been looking to add a few players to the squad at the end of the season to help the team in their journey next season.
This might see him let a few players from the squad leave and one such player who is extensively linked with an exit is Spanish star Cesc Fabregas.

The 29-year old is easily one of the best midfielders in the sport at the moment but Conte does not see him in his plans at Chelsea for the long term and is looking to off load him.
He was linked with an exit at the start of the season and also in January but Conte decided to keep him till the end of the season. However, with the Italian planning some big money moves, Fabregas’ time at the Bridge may come to end this season.
And a report from the Diaria Gol, a Spanish media outlet, now suggests that Spanish giants Real Madrid are interested in bringing him back to his home land.
Fabregas, who has won almost everything possible in European football, was an influential player for FC Barcelona not so long ago but Zinedine Zidane, the Real Madrid manager is desperate to add some quality and experience to the squad and has got his eye on the Spaniard from Chelsea.
The likes of N Golo Kante and Nemanja Matic have done extremely well this season in the first team for Conte and while Fabregas got a couple of starts in the league, he is far from a regular options and has fallen down the pecking order.
But at his age, he has plenty of football still left and is also looking for an exit.

Before spending 3 seasons at the Camp Nou, Fabregas was close to a move to the Los Blancos and it is now understood that Zidane might finally be able to get him to the Spanish capital.
Italian clubs AC Milan and AS Roma are also interested in his signature and it is reported that it is up to Fabregas to take a decision on his future.
He has less than 18 months left on his contract and will not be expensive and there will be a number of clubs who would want him in their squad but Real are now plotting to make a bid for him in the summer even with his history with the rivals.
Do you think Chelsea should sell Fabregas?
