Real Madrid star James Rodriguez is reportedly eyeing a move to Manchester United in the ongoing transfer window after falling out with his manager Zinedine Zidane.
The Colombia international, who has been heavily tipped to leave Bernabeu after struggling to get enough first time action, ended speculations about his future after the Copa Del Ray clash against Sevilla on Wednesday, when he said he was leaving a dream with the Los Blancos.
He had said:“Real Madrid is the club I dreamed about.”
James, who scored a brace in the match, had further said:“Here I am living that dream. I’m where I always wanted to be. The Bernabeu chanting my name was like a dream.”
However, the attacking mid-fielder, it seems, has changed his mind and is ready to force a move out of the Spanish capital.
Daily Mirror has reported that the Colombian star has fallen out with Zinedine Zidane and is so desperate to leave the club that he wants the transfer to happen this month only.
The report further added that his agent, Jorge Mendes is already in talks with United executive vice-president Ed Woodward. Moreover, Mendes also handles Jose Mourinho’s affairs and it might pave the way for a sensational transfer.
Mourinho has not shown interest in the Real Madrid ace so far but his stance can change once he is able to offload Morgan Schneiderlin, Marouane Fellaini and Memphis Depay. The news outlet claims that Mourinho is the front-runner to land the 2014 FIFA World Cup Golden Boot winner as he is getting all updates about the mid-fielder from Mendes.
Meanwhile, Chelsea and Paris Saint-Germain are also interested in the 25-year-old but he is favouring a switch to Old Trafford.
