Real Madrid vs Barcelona: Miami El Clasico Date Announced

The LaLiga rivals are to face off at the Hard Rock Stadium in the 2017 edition of the International Champions Cup summer tournament.
Barcelona and Real Madrid are to meet in a one-off pre-season EL Clasico in Miami this summer, it was officially announced on Friday.

The LaLiga arch rivals will go head-to-head at the Hard Rock Stadium, the 65,000-seat home of NFL franchise the Miami Dolphins, on 29 July.
The match is part of the International Champions Cup (ICC), an annual global exhibition series which features elite clubs from Europe and around the world.

“I am thrilled to bring the ICC back to the city of Miami,” said Dolphins owner and competition co-founder Stephen Ross.
“The opportunity to showcase two of the most storied clubs in the history of the sport is why we created this tournament.
“When they [Real and Barça] come to play a game, there’s nothing friendly about it,” Ross continued. “It’s like a war. They don’t like to lose.”
It will be the fifth time that Real Madrid have been involved in the tournament, while Barcelona will be making their third appearance.
