Liverpool are set to battle league leaders Chelsea in a make or break game of their season at Anfield this weekend.
The Reds will be looking for a win after a disastrous week this month which has seen their campaign end in both EFL Cup and FA Cup. Liverpool have also lost their last Premier League game to Swansea City 3-2 at Anfield making things much more tough for the home side going into the match against Chelsea.
Having won only one game out of seven this month, Liverpool are under tremendous pressure to perform against Chelsea as the latter are currently running away with the league title after an impressive turnaround by Conte.
However, ahead of this exciting contest, bookmakers Paddy Power have mocked Liverpool as they suggest that the home team will be losing.
They have put a sign board near Anfield which read: “ADVANCE WARNING. This road will be closed from 21:45hrs Tuesday 31/01/2017 for Liverpool FC’s end of season party.”
A defeat would surely end Liverpool’s title chances as they will fall behind by 13 points with only 15 games left in the league. Klopp and his men would be determined to turn the tables around in front of a capacity Anfield crowd tomorrow.
Spokesperson Paddy Power said: “Liverpool have Kopped a lot of stick after a disastrous week, which effectively ended their season already.
“Is the Klopp ticking for their German manager?
“Surely not yet, but if he continues to not be his usual efficient self, he could be off down the Anfield road.”
Liverpool were handed a major boost with the expected arrival of Sadio Mane but it remains to be seen whether Klopp will start the exciting winger. Although it is for sure, Mane would play a part in the high prof8le game this weekend.
