Ronald Koeman Keen On Reunion With Star Midfielder From Manchester United At Everton 1

Manchester United and Jose Mourinho will be disappointed with the start the team has had 13 games into the Premier League season. The Red Devils have just 20 points and are currently at sixth in the points table. They have a lot of work to do to compete for a place at the top of the table and the manager will know that he has a squad that needs some additions.

Mourinho has been linked with a move for some of the best players in Europe in big money moves in January but the manager is also aware of the short-comings of the squad and is ready to let a few players leave in January.

One such player who has no real future at the club is Morgan Schneiderlin.

The French international moved to the Old Trafford from the St Marys before the start of the previous season and was a regular at the beginning under Louis van Gaal. However, injuries and loss of form saw him lose his place in the side and he is yet to establish himself under the new manager.

According to recent reports, the 27-year-old is on the verge of leaving the club with Manchester United ready to part ways with him for a sum of around £25m.

He is yet to make a start in the domestic league this season and was an unused substitute in the recent League Cup victory over the Hammers.

He is now completely out of favor at the club and is now being scouted by two Premier League clubs for a move in January.

Ronald Koeman, new Everton manager, is keen on a pro-Southampton reunion at the Merseyside and is a front-runner for Schneiderlin’s signature.

Koeman is desperate for some midfield additions to his squad. He seems ready to make a move for Schneiderlin in January and is expected to add him to his squad.

Everton are not the only club that are looking to sign the French midfielder with Tony Pulis’ West Bromwich Albion also interested in his services but with Koeman’s history with the player, Everton may be able to get their man.
