Manchester United skipper Wayne Rooney used Instagram to reveal an extra edge of motivation to win the game against Spurs. Wayne Rooney declared that his son Kai will walk with him on to the pitch prior to kick off as a mascot ahead of the Spurs clash.
Rooney posted a pic on his Instagram account with a message saying:
“Big game tomorrow against Tottenham at Old Trafford. Looking forward to walking out again with my son Kai as mascot.”
Manchester United will host Tottenham in an almost must-win game for the red devils if they have to keep their chances alive to finish in the top 4. United are currently at 3rd place in the league table, trailing Arsenal by 4 points with the game against Spurs in hand.
Seeing how Arsenal have been playing recently, it is nothing but a must-win for Wayne Rooney an co. Rooney and United can do with some inspiration if it is to come from Rooney’s son Kai as there have been some serious criticisms about United’s playing style in recent weeks.
United vs Spurs will be a battle between two of England’s best striker at the moment: Wayne Rooney and Harry Kane. Spurs hitman has 24 goals this season while England skipper has 14 goals to his name.
Spurs come in to the game placed 6th in the league trailing United by 3 points. Kane and Eriksen would be the key man for Tottenham while Rooney will be United’s driving force and United captain will play with an extra level of motivation as his son Kai will walk with him prior to the kick off as one of the mascots.
