Manchester United have kept themselves alive in all competitions as they managed to get past French outfit Saint Etienne without much trouble in the Round of 32 of the Europa League this season.
The manager will be happy with the way his team is performing as his side are now close to a place in the Champions League in the Premier League points table and are also busy with the League Cup final this Sunday.
The Red Devils took a decent lead to France in the second leg and a solitary goal from Henrikh Mkhitaryan was enough for them to seal their place in the next round.
The game at the Stade Geoffroy –Guichard was entertaining as both teams went for the kill but Manchester United managed to keep the fans silent and ran away with a victory.

The atmosphere in the ground was electric and showed what the fans in France are capable of. Saint Ettiene will be proud of the way their fans backed them up in a losing cause with the whole stadium noisy all night.
However, a video that has surfaced on social media has put some of those fans to shame.
While the whole stadium was busy to pushing their team ahead a group of fans were caught making aeroplane gestures at the players from Manchester United.
It will forever be remembered as disgusting as these gestures refer to the Munich disaster that left the English outfit in tatters.
The atmosphere in the stands was praised on social media but these here is a video of this shameful act from the Saint Etienne fans:

The Munich air disaster occurred on 6 February 1958 when British European Airways flight 609 crashed on its third attempt to take off from a slush-covered runway at Munich-Riem Airport, West Germany.
On the plane was the Manchester United football team, nicknamed the “Busby Babes”, along with supporters and journalists.
Twenty of the 44 on the aircraft died at the scene. The injured were taken to the Rechts der Isar Hospital in Munich where three more died, resulting in 23 fatalities with 21 survivors.
It will forever be remembered as a sad day for the football fraternity and it comes as a shame that fans of other clubs use them to taunt the Manchester United fans.
The French club are now sure to be fined for these gestures and will make life even difficult for true fans to support their club.
