After back to back losses to Manchester City and Everton, Arsenal has drifted away from the top of the Premier League table this month as they are 9 points off the top of the table in spite of their victory over West Brom in the last round of the competition.
The manager spends a fair amount of money in the summer transfer window but the lack of form and injuries to key players might see the manager spend yet again in the winter transfer window that is just days away.
He has been linked to some star players in recent times and this might see him sell a few players come the start of the transfer window.
One such player who is now extensively linked with a move away from the Emirates is English international Kieran Gibbs.

The English left-back is one of the senior players in the squad at Arsenal but he has been playing the second fiddle to Nacho Monreal, the more experienced player in his position for more than a year now.
The Spaniard is still the first choice for Wenger leaving Gibbs with hardly any game time under his belt.
Though he will still be used for all the cup games, it is now understood that the 27-year old is unsettled at the club and is pondering over a move away from the club.
A not too far away from the Emirates, Big Sam, who has just taken charge of the London outfit Crystal Palace, is now reportedly eyeing a move for the English defender in January.
Crystal Palace are a bit weak in left back position with the new manager is looking for additions and it is now understood that Sam Allardyce has made the signing of a left-back his top priority.

And according to the Sun, he is now ready to make a move for the Arsenal star in January.
With just over 18 months left on his contract at the club, Gibbs, whose career was spoilt by injuries, is not turning into a first choice full back for Wenger and this might be a decent opportunity for him to find some regular football.
It is unclear if Wenger wants to offer him a new contract and if he does not have plans to do so, it might be the perfect time for Wenger to get rid of the man at a higher price.
Gibbs is far from the first choice for club and country at the moment but if he can cement a place in the starting XI at Palace, and can prove himself, he is not too far away from a first team place for England under Southgate.
Do you think Wenger should get rid of Gibbs in January with Palace lurking?
