After a strange one-on-one encounter with Al Batin goalkeeper Martin Campana during Al Nassr’s 3-1 victory on Friday, Cristiano Ronaldo has left the fans perplexed. Following his spectacular free transfer to Saudi Arabia, the five-time Ballon d’Or winner has adjusted to life there after signing a lucrative contract with Al Nassr which will see him pocket a staggering £175m per-season.

In six outings for Al Nassr, Ronaldo, who has a contract with the club through 2025, has already scored eight goals and recorded two assists. During his team’s fixture at Mrsool Park against Al Batin, the Portuguese attacker, came close to scoring, but his attempt was magnificently cleared off the line.  Fans, however, were confused in the moments leading up to Ronaldo’s effort being blocked, in which he managed to hang onto the end of an extravagant ball.
