It has been now stated that La Liga giants Real Madrid and Barcelona are both looking to sign Liverpool’s attacking midfield superstar Philippe Coutinho and might make offers to sign their target soon. As confirmed by Le10Sport, the Brazilian international could be tempted to leave Anfield in case the Reds do not qualify for the Champions League in the current campaign. Things have really improved at the Merseyside, since the arrival of new boss Jurgen Klopp after Brendan Rodgers was sacked, yet a top four finish seems to be the key to keeping the 23-year-old attacker with the Premier League outfit it seems.

The superstar winger has a tally of five goals and three assists in a total of 16 appearances this season already and is currently attracting the interest of Europe’s top clubs, who are keen on signing him.

There is no doubt that the play-maker would surely command a massive fee if Klopp does look to cash in on him and he is allowed Coutinho to leave the club anytime soon.

Both the Spanish giants would know that he is surely one for the future and will have to battle it out for his signature, till a deal does indeed go through.

On the other hand, Liverpool will try their best to keep hold of him and the way the league is going on at present, there is every possibility of them finishing in the top four as well, which could possibly mean that he would be going nowhere.
