Borussia Monchengladbach have expressed their interest to sign the defender on a permanent deal and have made desperate efforts to sign him earlier this summer but Chelsea have not made a decision on his future.
Considering the fact that Chelsea are currently facing a defensive crisis and John Terry who will most probably at the end of the season meant the Blues are not interested in selling the Denmark international.
He will still have three years left on his contract by the time he goes back to Stamford Bridge next summer and could play a crucial role in Blues defense in the upcoming years.
However, the player have not made any decision so far as he admits there is possibility of staying at the German club next summer or he could move back to Stamford Bridge
“I have not yet decided. I’m not going to do it at the moment,” Christensen told Bild.
