The 25-year old, who only recently signed a new 4-year contract is one of the most prolific goal scorers in Europe at the moment.

In the last 3 seasons, the French attacker has scored an astonishing 92 goals for his club and is easily one of the best strikers in Europe.

He is a player who will suit Wenger’s style of play at Arsenal and will displace the likes of Olivier Giroud and Danny Welbeck to a place on the bench.

And it is revealed today that the Lyon manager admitted that the 25-year old might leave this summer.

“He can leave if Lyon wants him to,” said the 49-year-old manager.

“There are some offers that you cannot refuse. My desire as a manager is that the best players stay and Lacazette is very important for the team. I have been assured by my president that we will keep the player. You never know what could happen right up until August 31,” he added.

Jean-Michel Aulas, the owner of the French outfit has in the past revealed that he will not be letting Lacazette move this summer but it is now understood that Arsenal are free to get their man if they can meet his asking price.

It is revealed that Lyon are ready to let go of their player for a bid around £40m and it is now understood that Arsenal will be plotting to snap him up before further advancements.

It will be a great addition for Arsenal who will have to act quickly to get their man.
