Moussa Sissoko has been one of the more dominant and promising mid field players in the Premier League this season and when we discuss a dominant mid field player who could be on the move, the only club comes to mind is Arsenal. Arsenal fans have been crying out loud for a strong mid field player signing ever since Patrick Viera left and till date, no one has managed to fill in his shoes.

Arsenal have been given a major boost in pursuit of a powerful mid field player with Moussa Sissoko from Newcastle coming out and expressing his love for Arsenal. In a recent interview with Sky Sports, Sissoko was quoted saying: “Arsenal were my favorite club when I was young and my idol was Patrick Vieira,” “I have always loved this club and I still love them.

“There were a lot of rumors (about an Arsenal move) but I do not pay too much attention.

“I have an agent [Bakari Sanogo] that takes care of that. If something should happen, it will happen.

“I have ambition. My goal is to play at the best clubs, playing the Champions League, win trophies, but today I am a Magpie and I am very happy.”

These words from Sissoko are almost a come and get me plea to Arsene Wenger. Arsenal manager was recently heard saying that Arsenal will not shy away from spending big if the right players are available during the transfer window. With Sissoko displaying his Arsenal love in public a tempting £15 Millions could be on the cards and if that is the case, we very well could see a proper mid field signing made by Arsenal which is now long overdue.

Arsenal face a lengthy spell out injured from Aaron Ramsey and Jack Wilshere. Mikel Arteta is not getting any younger or better with age, so in these circumstances Moussa Sissoko looks to be the ideal signing for Arsenal to build their season, not only in the Premier League but in the Champions League as well.
