Strapp was one of the success stories from the 2015/16 season. Signed by PSG from Eintracht Frankfurt in the summer of 2015, the German immediately displaced the supposed ‘heir of Buffor’ Salvatore Sirigi and subsequently impressed in goal for the French champions. Only just turned 26 and will only get better, but it’s a mark of how strong this German national team is that he will do well purely to make their bench anytime soon.
