According to the latest reports, Manchester United have made Tottenham Hotspurs’ right-back Kyle Walker as their defensive target for the next transfer window this summer. Despite the arrival of Marco Rojo during last arrival, the defensive problems of Manchester United have not reduced.

With this, the Red Devils’ manager Louis van Gaal have been analyzing his potential targets for the right-back position. To overcome crisis for right back position, van Gaal is considering moves for Southampton’s Nathaniel Clyne and Barcelona’s Dani Alves.

The primary reason for van Gaal to consider Kyle Walker is his flexibility. He can play as a defender in flat four system and can also play as a wing back if the manager opts for a back three.

With Dani Alves still considering career at Camp Nou, despite United willing to offer £100,000 per week. Manchester United might just look for a young player who is in his peak form.

Kyle Walker has been in the form of his life after returning from abdominal injury that ruled him out for nearly ten months. This form of his has led both England and Maanchester United to track his progress.

Van Gaal clearly wants a stronger option than 19-year-old Paddy McNair, who has been picked in starting XI ahead of Rafael in recent matches. With van Gaal particularly impressed with the way Walker has come back from injury, he might to go for him in summer. The spurs will not lose their wing-back for nothing less than £20 million and United can only lure the defender to Old Trafford if they can offer Champions League football.
