Tonight in Zurich will be the night when some players will be crowned and their names forever be written down in history. Players will be awarded for their heroics and for the great entertainment they have provided to every football fan. While the Ballon d’Or will be the highlight of the night, there are many awards which will be distributed to deserving candidates among which one concerns the best goal of 2015.

The top three goals of the year have come from the boots of Lionel Messi, Alessandro Floreni and Wendel Lira. Here we give you the chance of reliving those goals and choosing which would make the cut!

Lionel Messi, Barcelona vs Athletic Bilbao, 30th May 2015

It was the Copa Del Rey final when the magician pulled this humdinger out of his hat. Dribbling past 6 players the little champion scored this gem of a goal and you just can’t get enough of his excellence. *bow*

Wendell Lira, Atletico-Go vs Goianesia, 11th March 2015

Lira’s goal is simply a treat! After passing the ball to a teammate and making a dummy pass, Wendell runs into the box to finish it all off with a magnificent bicycle kick.

Alessandro Floreni, Roma vs Barcelona, 16th December 2015

In the first match of the Champions League season, Floreni pulled off a blinder from near the half line. With getting the possession of the ball, Floreni made a run for it but not finding both his team mates and Stegen in not a decent position, the full back took a chance foiled in brilliant technique and knocked one past the goalkeeper who was left in a bundle!
