Bayern Munich and Germany star Thomas Muller has almost paved the way for Pep Guardiola’s departure from Allianz Arena. Muller spoke exclusively with SportsBild where, he was quoted saying: “A change in manager doesn’t matter so much to the players.”
These words have clearly indicated towards Guardiola leaving the German Champions amid all the rumors linking him with a move to Premier League. Manchester clubs (City & United) are the prime candidates in bringing the trophy hungry Spaniard with Chelsea also in the mix.
Guardiola himself has been quoted saying things which suggested towards his Allianz Arena exit. Former Barcelona manager has been vocal about his exit and has even welcomed Carlo Ancelotti as the new Bayern manager in coming weeks.
Muller himself has been linked with a move to Premier League thus he will once again be linked with a move this summer if Guardiola ends up joining the English football. Current scenario in the Premier League does indicates some big things are about to happen.
Manchester United’s poor set of results have prompted Jose Mourinho’s move to Old Trafford and one feels that if Mourinho ends up joining Manchester United, Guardiola will end up at Manchester City. If it happens, the famous Mourinho-Guardiola feud will be renewed, and it is a daunting prospect for Premier League fans.
