The summer transfer window is quite far away but Premier League clubs seem to work tirelessly, in perpetual motion perhaps, to get the right players on board, if possible tying them to a contract before the showcase World Cup in Brazil.

Karim Benzema: The French striker has time and again reiterated that he wants a contract extension at the Spanish Giants, real Madrid. Though major tabloids are linking a move qhich is imminent from the greener pastures of Bernebeu, a deal might just happen in the coming summer. Benzema’s contract at the Spanish capital ends in 2015 and he is more than capable a striker enough who will have no dearth of potential suitors. Its believed Liverpool  manager will aggressively look for targets if the Reds are to finish in the Champions League position for next campaign. Arsene Wenger too is on the hot trails of the Frenchman and Emirates does look a possible destination.

Ilkay Gundogan: Manchester United have reportedly moved closer to securing a deal that would see Borussia Dortmund‘s Ilkay Gundogan move to Old Trafford in the summer. After what is a horrific campaign for the Red Devils, United’s executive vice Chairman Ed Woodward is working very hard to bring the German to United in order to restore the stability in midfield. Gundogan is the kind of player United are missing who can play deep and create from there and also drafting into pockets of space behind the strikers. Dortmund, initially unwilling to part with their gem will however be forced to sell rather than lose him for free like Robert Lewandowski imminent arrival at the Allianz Arsena for peanuts this coming summer.

Alvaro Morata: The second Real Madrid player on our list and another player who is expected to ply his trade away from the Bernebeu in Spaniard Alvaro Morata. The young striker was sought after by Arsenal in January but the deal died down after any sort of bid failed to materialise from the German club. The twenty one year old is a real gem, has superb pace down the flanks and is a lethal striker. Various Premier League are interested in him, but where does he land to is the question?
