8. Fabio Capello (Real Madrid; 1997, 2007):
Having lifted the La Liga title in the previous season, his first ever at the club, Capello was on his route to something similar in the 1997-98 season but a fallout with the then chairman Lorenzo Sanz saw him sacked midway through the season. He came back to the Bernabeu 10 years later and once again lifted the title in his first year but was later sacked because his style of play was too defensive for the liking of the Spanish capital.
