Though his win percentage remains the second highest in the history of the Premier League, Chelsea sacked Ancelotti just a year after he won the league title and also the FA Cup. Chelsea were top scorers in the league in that season but were finished 9 points behind Manchester United, the title winners in the next season and went trophyless. The Italian was sacked just hours after the last game that season.
