The former Liverpool striker has had his fair share of controversies over the years. On more than one occasion, he was captured biting his opposition players on the field and was also banned for 10 games and half a season for his antics in the most recent World Cup. He is a prolific goal scorer but his antics on the field make him hard to be loved.
The racial abuse on Patrice Evra was a new low for him in his career but that did not stop him completely. But at the moment, he seems to have become a better player but is still one of the most hated players in Europe.
