The pacey left back from Barcelona has been a revelation for Arsenal this season. He is a sound defender who reads the game exceptionally well and is aware of his duties at the back. He gives no space to his opponents to attack down the flank and also hits them on the counter with incredible pace. He is one of the quickest players in the league and at the age of 20, will only get better. He has scored twice for the Gunners so far this season.
3. Ayoze Perez (Newcastle United):
One of the best players for the struggling Newcastle side, Ayoze Perez possesses most of the abilities needed for a top class striker. He is quick across the turf and has an exceptional eye for goal. He is aware of the proceeding and often finds himself space in the final third. He has scored 3 goals in 10 appearances so far for the club this season.
4. Santi Cazorla (Arsenal):
The versatile midfielder is an epitome of the Spanish way of football. He is extremely good at controlling the tempo of the game in the middle of the park and shows relentless energy when tracking back to defend. He is good with both his feet and has been in great form for Arsenal off late. He is yet to score for the Gunners in the Premier League but has been effective in creating chances from the midfield.
5. Juan Mata (Manchester United):
Mata who moved from Chelsea to Manchester United has found his form with the Red Devils. He has been one of the brightest players for the club which has not been good enough in the final third. Mata has the ability to bring out defense breaking passes and is capable of finding the goal himself from tight corners. He has found the net 4 times already this season and has started every league game for the club.
