10. Robert Lewandowski:
At number ten in the list of Top Ten Football Players in the World at the Moment is Robert Lewandowski.
There are a very few strikers in the world who have dominated the scene as much as Robert Lewandowski in the last few years. Ever since arriving at Bayern Munich in 2014, he has scored a staggering 150 goals in 194 games.
Prior to that, he had netted 103 times in 187 games for Borussia Dortmund. The stats make it clear he is one of the deadliest strikers in the world at the moment.
Lewandowski was the 2016-17 Bundesliga player of the year after netting 43 goals in 47 total appearances for Bayern. He followed that up by scoring 40 in 46 appearances this season, with a Bundesliga-best 29 goal in 30 matches.
The Poland star made it to Bundesliga’s team of the year in three straight campaigns, and Champions League Team of the Year in two straight.
He has been equally devastating in front of the goal for his country. His 16 goals during 2018 World Cup qualification were also tops in the world.
However, Robert failed to prove his worth in the FIFA World Cup 2018 where Poland crashed out at the group stage. But it should not at all undermine Lewandowski’s talent.
As far as his trophy haul is concerned, he has got his hands full. So far, Robert Lewandowski has won six Bundesliga titles, two DFB-Pokal titles, and three DFL-Super Cup titles.
