6. Neymar:

At number six in the list of Top Ten Football Players in the World at the Moment is Neymar.
The fans must have loved Neymar to be higher on the list but a lengthy injury towards the second half of the season affected his positioning. The Brazil superstar is widely regarded as the third best player in the world after Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi.
After four stunning seasons at Barcelona, he moved to Paris Saint-Germain at a world record price of $263 million. At PSG, he has become the leading man and is cherishing the role.
While at Barcelona, Neymar scored 105 goals in 186 total appearances. He peaked there during a remarkable 2014-15 season, when he scored 39 goals in 51 appearances, then followed that up with 31 goals in 49 showings in 2015-16.
He helped Barcelona win two La Liga titles (2015 and 2016), three Copa del Rey trophies (2015, 2016, 2017) and a Champions League title in 2015.
In his first season in France, Neymar scored 19 goals in 20 Ligue 1 matches before improving in his second season. The star forward had 28 goals in just 30 total appearances before disaster struck. His season was cut short by surgery to repair a broken bone in his foot.

He returned to action in the FIFA World Cup 2018 and did decently, scoring twice, as Brazil made it to the quarterfinal.
Neymar has been impressive for Brazil too. With 57 goals in 89 matches for Brazil, he is the third highest goalscorer for his national team, trailing only Pelé and Ronaldo.
The striker helped Brazil win the 2013 FIFA Confederations Cup, where he won the Golden Ball as player of the tournament. In 2016, he led Brazil to their first Olympic gold medal in men’s football at the Summer Olympics.
