At number four in the list of Top Ten Football Players in the World at the Moment is Kevin de Bruyne.
Kevin de Bruyne is perhaps the most underrated midfielder in the world right now. But with the passage of time, he is fast becoming one of the most sought-after players in the game.
He has been the creative force behind Manchester City’s Premier League-winning campaign last year and Belgium’s third-place finish in the FIFA World Cup 2018.
The 26-year-old is fast, technically skilled and one of the world’s best passers. What makes him even more dangerous is his ability to score some world-class goals now and then? It was his stunning goal from outside the box that had eliminated Brazil from this year’s FIFA World Cup 2018.
He narrowly missed out on the PFA Player of the Year award to Mohamed Salah this year after playing an integral part in City’s season, as they won the Premier League and the Carabao Cup. The midfielder provided 16 assists and had eight league goals this season.
Overall, Bruyne has appeared in a whopping 141 matches in all competitions for City over the past three seasons, scoring 35 goals. In that time he’s played in 97 Premier League matches, scoring 21 goals and adding a ridiculous 43 assists. The Belgian been the league’s leader in assists the past two campaigns.

De Bruyne was named in the league’s team of the year for the first time this season. Since his arrival in 2015, he has been named City’s player of the month six times and was the team’s player of the year in 2015-16.
Kevin was named to UEFA’s Team of the Year in 2017 and was the Bundesliga Player of the Year during a stint with VFL Wolfsburg in 2014-15. He was also named the Belgian Sportsman of the Year in 2015.
