At number three in the list of Top Ten Football Players in the World at the Moment is Mohamed Salah.
No player enjoyed a season like Mohamed Salah did in 2017-18. Not surprisingly, he is ranked so higher on the list. While Salah had showcased his skills while playing for Roma, nobody had thought that he would take the Premier League by storm.
By the time the season ended, many already started hailing him as the best in the world even ahead of the likes of Ronaldo and Messi.
After arriving at Liverpool from Roma in July of 2017, Salah immediately set the Premier League on fire and led Liverpool to the Champions League final, scoring 11 goals during that run.

He was even more deadly in the Premier League, netting 32 goals in 36 games. Salah broke the club’s scoring record for a debut season and also received the Premier League Golden Boot.
His 32 goals in a 38-game Premier League season set a new record, surpassing the old mark of 31. Salah also set Premier League season records for most left-footed goals (25), most goals by an African player (32) and most games scored in (24).
Overall, he scored 44 goals in 51 games across competitions.
In addition, he also bagged a record three Premier League Player of the Month Awards. He was named Premier League Player of the Year by both the players and the Football Writers Association and is also the 2017 African Footballer of the Year. An injury-marred his World Cup, as he missed his country’s opener. However, Salah managed to score two in the following two games.
